I am a teacher and of course I do it for the money…I mean for the children…wait… I am passionate about teaching and I think what keeps me there are the random things kids say. Every day I may teach the same content, but every day is a new day with funny, silly, and seriously cannot make this up kind of days. I think something a day will keep us at bay. So today one of my silly students was telling another student about what is stinky. I overheard a student telling another student “did you know my Butt is stinky?”. And there was no response except for chuckles. And as far as me I froze with the broom in my hand because I wasn’t sure I heard what I heard correctly…well I did. And I slowly, but steadily continued sweeping my classroom.
